Clever swimming pool allows you to explore below the surface

Leandro Erlich has a fun permanent installation at the The 21st Century Museum of Art of Kanazawa, Japan. The artist has constructed a full-size swimming pool in the middle of the gallery. This pool, however, is not what it seems. To the surprise of onlookers you can see people casually walking on the bottom, looking up, and even waving.

This special pool contains only 10 centimeters of water resting on transparent glass and an entrance where you can explore the space from below the surface. This presents a fun and interactive illusion for art lovers.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

If you can’t make it to Japan to experience this spectacle in person check out the video below!
