A macro lens and some liquid soap are all you need to shoot incredible experimental short films like Thomas Blanchard.
The short titled “Memories of Paintings” combines soothing technicolor palettes and macro filmmaking in a wonderful four and a half minute package. The film is primarily an experiment with colorful paint, oil, milk, and liquid soap with music by Bronx in the background. You can watch the colored bubbles and crevices mix and form in front of the camera forever.
