Colorful Frank Gehry cultural center completed in Panama

Resting on an isthmus overlooking Panama City the new ‘Biomuseo‘ is finally ready for its grand opening. The long project broke ground for construction nearly 10 years ago. Frank Gehry is the architect of this misshapen colorful cultural center.

Although the Biomuseo was designed 10 years ago it looks like wild fashion out of the ’80s. Once open, the cultural center will showcase the local environment and species that inhabit the area. It will be home to eight permanent exhibition spaces, a temporary gallery, a public atrium, a museum shop, a café and an outdoor botanical garden.
