With this colorful three-part furniture set including a chair, ottoman and stool, Meb Rure’s goal was to “bring warm and cheerful atmosphere to spaces.”
The frames are made of American white oak, and the fabric is recycled silk yarns from Nepal. However, instead of traditional upholstery, the cushions are a collection of balls assembled from multicolored silk wrapped around foam. The legs of these pieces are easily disassembled through a peg and post mechanism. It’s all of the benefits of a futon’s collapsible transformation, but in a trendy and unique style!
