This series of work combines food photography and fashion photography by using the shapes, textures and patterns of different edibles to portray wearable items. Italian photographer, Fulvio Bonavia, has created this delicious (wink!) series of photographs with a well-trained eye at abstracting material and form, then recombining them in creative ways.
Following the production of this series for a book titled A Matter of Taste, Bonavia has gone on to use a similar concept in creating “food dresses” in collaboration with high-fashion designers such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Alexander McQueen.
