Lucid dreams refer to a state in which a person is aware that they’re dreaming and are thus able to exert some level of control. The iBand+ Headband wants to help you reach that state more.
This neat little device, by Amsterdam-based developed iBandPlus, uses EEG brain sensing technology coupled with health tracking to monitor users’ brainwaves, body movement, heart rate and body temperature. All of this data is then used to recognize sleep phases.

With an auto-learning algorithm that adapts to one’s sleeping patterns, iBand+ is able to induce lucid dreams using natural audio-visual stimuli. You can customize the headband with your own AV cues, LEDs, and compact pillow speakers to enhance the experience. The band will sync data to both iOS and Android devices and was fully funded on Indiegogo with more than $1 million. Check it out below!
