I just returned from a week in Victoria, British Columbia, where I had taken the wife for her birthday. We stayed in an AirBNB and so went out grocery shopping, since the wife is gluten-intolerant, and ran across a unique Canadian breakfast cereal, pictured above. Their website promotes, “The high-fiber breakfast cereal with the name that’s a promise”, and the wife says that part is definitely true.
It was pretty pricey in Victoria, but on Amazon the cost is double. We brought some back and the cereal is so dense that it triggered an alarm at every security check; I learned that it registered as a possible explosive. We won’t be doing that again. I will probably try to duplicate the recipe on my own at those prices.
