Current Collection is a contemporary light studio, helmed by Nash Martinez and based out of the Pacific Northwest. Because the skies are notoriously cloudy in Portland, lighting plays a larger than usual role in creating ambiance and mood, a big factor in Martinez’s design motivation. Other inspiration comes by way of historical design elements that are applied in a modern way, for a fresh feel that’s also familiar. Current Collection prides itself on working with skilled craftspeople who create the handmade and sculptural components to each piece of their lighting. Their entire line is stunning, with Arch (seen directly below) being the latest addition.
