Morris Models engine kits are a unique combination of mechanics, history, and art. The company was founded by Don Morris, a certified pilot and airplane mechanic, lifelong engine enthusiast and Aviation Technologies Professor. The models are precise and intricate artistic representations of historic engine genres. They are also accurate and interactive, with internal parts clearly visible. All of the models are interactive with moving internal parts, and are accurate enough to be used as teaching aids in the classroom, but beautiful enough to display in a home or office.

Sandsara is a kinetic sand sculpture that uses a magnet mounted to a 2-axis SCARA mechanical arm to guide a steel ball through a bed of sand, creating an infinite number of patterns. The frame is made from machined black walnut and birch hand-finished with a thin layer of natural wax giving it a sleek matte finish. Best is that it comes with 100 patterns in a library, and users can create their own patterns easily and upload them to the library for others to enjoy. Patterns are loaded into the sculpture via Bluetooth using the app.

JADIL is an acronym for Just Another Desk Incredible Lamp. Grammar aside, it does have a wide range of functions and modes making it an interesting lighting accessory for your home. The LED display can be tuned to various colors using the app, and even on white setting the tone of the white light can be adjusted from warm to light. The light can also be sound activated through the app, and the folding design lets it function as a desk lamp, night light, or light sculpture,

Isolator Cups cleverly include heat dispersing fins into the outside of the cup, making it comfortable for you to hold even the hottest cup of coffee.

The latest project from Medieval Kits is a desktop version of a catapult designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. This beautiful, and fully functional, model is perfect for fending off co-workers who stop by unannounced. The kit uses brass pins with mortise and tenon joints to make assembly easy. They are approaching their stretch goal of $35K in funding which will allow them to include a set of DaVinci drawings too.
