Another month, another Designer Desktop! This month’s designer feature is Ahmad AbouZanat of PROJECT AZ, a Qatar-born, Lebanon-raised, current New Yorker whose work is a mix of French and Middle Eastern aesthetics. His latest work is Halo, a series of rugs inspired by the natural phenomenon of a solar eclipse. The collection mimics the ethereal colors that transpire during the event and incorporates copper threads for a shimmering effect similar to the ring of light that forms. The contrast of light and shadow creates a beautiful backdrop for any interior space.
