Born in Tahiti in 1991, French Polynesia, Dimitri Guedes currently lives in Montreal, Canada. “I started taking pictures because I was intrigued by the possibilities of creating an unconventional, atmospheric visual universe. I take my inspiration in everyday life. I like to play with the models and surroundings while shooting. Flirting between dream and reality, the aim of my work is to create poetic and raw visuals that connect with people. I find this connection with that alternative reality fascinating,” Dimitri told WE AND THE COLOR.
