Don’t look down! This awesome string sculpture lets you climb all over it.

It’s an artistic playground! This string sculpture installation creates an alternate reality– it’s like you’re climbing into an artificial computer generated world. Croatian-Austrian design collective numen/for use designed this impressive prototype.

The sculpture is constructed by building an inflatable room with ropes crisscrossing to the exterior walls. The inflation combined with the graph-paper-like grid of blue ropes creates a structure that is strong enough to support human weight. The brilliance of this design is two-fold. First, it creates an immersive and experiential interior space. Secondly, the installation is completely collapsible once it’s deflated and can therefore be easily moved or stored.
