Andrea Mongia is an Italian illustrator who lives and works in Rome. He’s constantly looking for a balance between minimalism and pleasing, smart images with a special attention to architecture, interior design, and plants. He has graduated from European Institute of Design (IED) in 2011. Today he’s a member of Studio Pilar, a cultural association and collective of four illustrators. During the last years, he has created numerous editorial illustrations for international clients such as The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, The Sunday Times Magazine, Mr Porter, Zeit Campus, Variety, L’ OBS, Architectural Digest, Surface Magazine, Groundwood Books, Yale School of Public Health, Radiolab, WNYC, ProPublica, The Chronicle Review, Oregon Quarterly, Reputation Squad, Assicurazioni Generali, Loescher Editore, Leftloft, Rivista Studio, Rivista Undici, il Tascabile, Donna Moderna, Biancoenero Edizioni, Gorilla Sapiens Edizioni, La Stampa, L’Unità, and others.
