Eerie long exposure photo captures blankets of moonlit fog

A picture definitely says a thousand words in this brilliant picture by Lorenzo Montezemolo.

The Italian photographer climbed Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California to capture an amazing long exposure photograph of the city below. The resulting image shows a steady, free-flowing stream of fog over the city while buildings are eerily illuminated. “I chose to use a long exposure in order to give the incoming fog a smooth, striated appearance as it slithered over the ridge below,” Montezemolo said.
