Tattoo enthusiasts are often enamoured of exquisitely detailed skin-art, but Mo Ganji takes a more minimalist approach to the craft.
The Berlin-based tattoo artist uses only black lines and some dots here and there to create expressive tattoos. The lines come together to form figures ranging from elephants to koi fish and even facial profiles. Simplicity is key here, and it works really well to create a genre of its own. The images are influenced by Ganji’s own view of life, that it should be simple and honest.
