Finding the perfect fabric to recreate natural lifeforms is what Mister Finch does best.
Captured in exquisite detail, Mister Finch’s latest fabric sculptures are dedicated to mushrooms. Entire root systems and wrinkles have been fashioned delicately. The UK-based artist continues to be inspired by British folklore surrounding flowers, insects, and fauna. The splendid photographs for this exhibition were taken by Patricia Heal and depict the sculptures in a Victorian era aesthetic with a black backdrop.
