Everyday objects incorporated into quirky illustrations

Using quirky drawings and everyday household items, Christoph Niemann is back with more of his whimsical sketches (previously). Niemann is an illustrator for a number of magazines, including the New Yorker. He also maintains the New York Times’ blog ‘Abstract City,’ where he writes and illustrates. For a different kind of project, he took to the Internet to showcase ‘Sunday Sketching.’

In his series, the artist uses a variety of ordinary objects to complete his sketches. Objects like a sock, pencil shavings, a teapot, and bananas are placed on top of a sketch to create a clever final image.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.
