Exclusive In-Person Member Screening—Maestro and Post-Screening Conversation

LACMA members are invited to join FILM at LACMA for a special in-person screening of Maestro, followed by a conversation with prosthetic makeup designer Kazu Hiro.

Maestro is a towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship between Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. A love letter to life and art, Maestro at its core is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love.

Maestro is nominated for seven Academy Awards® including Best Picture, Best Actor (Bradley Cooper), Best Actress (Carey Mulligan), Best Original Screenplay (Bradley Cooper and Josh Singer), Best Cinematography (Matthew Libatique), Best Sound (Steven A. Morrow, Richard King, Jason Ruder, Tom Ozanich, and Dean Zupancic), and Best Makeup and Hairstyling (Kazu Hiro, Kay Georgiou, and Lori McCoy-Bell).
