Benze’s drawings are highly detailed and downright bizarre, with a combination of decorative pieces, and objects like flowers, grasses, and twigs fused with human profiles. Stipling and cross-hatching has been utilized to achieve such detail that you really have to zoom into it to truly admire the quality of the work.
According to Benze, “Each work has its own gravitational field which irresistibly forces us to zoom in, explore more, discover new aspects within the whole.”
