Fair Director’s Pick for the Week of November 5

Lydia Lee

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Lydia Lee is a Korean artist, based in Seoul, whose vibrant, gestural paintings—by turns abstract and figurative—reflect her travels through the American West and the Mediterranean. Her expressive paint strokes, which she describes as “fundamentally related to the Baroque,” capture the enthralling grandeur of natural phenomena and the complexity of the massive structures that make up Seoul’s built environment.
