Artists have been drawing and painting their food and their belongings for thousands of years. Gather your favorite foods to draw, add some toys or cute things, and we’ll create a still life that tells a story about you—the artist! View still life paintings from LACMA’s collection for inspiration. At the end of class we’ll share our work, maybe eat some fruit, and get ready for lunch! All skill levels are welcome. With artist Rosanne Kleinerman.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Join on your computer or tablet wherever you have internet. A Zoom link and art materials list will be sent to you prior to class. Students are responsible for providing their own art materials based on recommendations provided by the teaching artist.

Rosanne Kleinerman is an artist and art educator. She has exhibited her work in Los Angeles, New York, and many places in between. Lately, she has taken her work to the streets, with large-scale public commissions on walls, bus shelters, and utility boxes.
