Fantastic paper sculptures transformed digitally by Eiko Ojala

We’ve covered the wonders of paper craft before, but we’ve seen nothing quite like this series by Eiko Ojala.

The Estonian illustrator adds a sense of depth and texture to his illustrations with paper, and carefully placed light and shadow. The layers of cut paper are assembled digitally as desired by Ojala and is often blended with the artist’s own photography. It’s amazing how much difference a little shadow can make to transform two-dimensional art.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.
