German photographer Michael Poliza’s book ‘Eyes Over Africa’ captures stunning aerial views of landscapes and wildlife in the African countries of Botswana and Namibia. The photographs were taken at the Okavango Delta in Botswana, which is home to a wide variety of endangered species. Poliza also took photos in Damaraland, Namibia, which is renowned for its arid lands and majestic granite formations.
Seen from the air, the photos capture not only the animals and land, but the colorful patterns that are shaped by the environment. Among the most interesting are the photos of elephants and the long shadows they cast across the earth.
