Leisure company Belmond has launched South America’s first ever luxury sleeper train in collaboration with London-based interior design studio Inge Moore. It will offer passengers the opportunity of traveling overland in luxury and style with its Peruvian nature-inspired interiors and fittings.
The Belmond Andean Explorer comes in one or two-night itineraries – both offering views of breathtaking landmarks such as the Colca Canyon and the Lake Titicaca. These itineraries can be availed between Puno, Arequipa, and Cusco. The train is dressed in million dollar colors and elegance and can transport 48 passengers at once.

Each carriage features a different environment for the lucky passengers. There is a piano bar car with an actual medium grand piano and an open deck at the rear of the train where passengers can see the surrounding views without obstruction. Aside from this, there is also a restaurant car, a library, and an n-board gift shop.
