Fish Zip Bags by Japanese artist Keiko Otsuhata

Keiko Otsuhata has designed a product that is sure to make you think twice about the uses of fish other than food.

The Japanese designer was curious about what the insides of a fish would like before being cooked. In Japan, everyone is accustomed to seeing fried fish because they’re common food items on menus. Otsuhata went to the grocery store, took photographs and printed them onto zip bags. The Tokyo based creative is also a writer for Japan’s Daily Portal Z, where she often writes about her creative process. Read about she made the very first fish bag and check out some of them below.
