Five Mirrors, Infinite Reflections: Riflessioni by Marco Brunori for Adele-C

There are certain encounters that cause you to pause and reflect. The moment you stand in front of a mirror is one of those instances. Drawing from his own personal reflections, architect Marco Brunori designed the Riflessioni collection of five mirrors for Adele Cassina, each composed of multiple pieces that can be configured and reconfigured for infinite reflections.

Pablo is a wall mirror/shelf that is made up of multiple reflective surfaces, a tribute to Pablo Picasso’s portraits made up of intersecting planes and facets.

Ray pays homage to American visual artist Man Ray, who contributed to the surrealist movement, and is inspired by Brunori’s personal reflections with his son Luca, who showed him new perspectives even as a child and later as a teenager.

Kiki was named for Kiki de Montparnasse, a model in the 1900s. The two mirrors allude to the model’s unforgettable image and simple but sophisticated enigma.

Marcel, as in Marcel Duchamp of the “Nude Descending a Staircase” painting, expresses movement through a succession of frames and fragmentations.
