Following up the popular LEGO art book ‘Beautiful LEGO,’ internationally acclaimed author and artist Mike Doyle just announced the next installment, entitled ‘Beautiful LEGO 2: Dark.’ This ‘sequel’ aims to explore the darker, more macabre side of LEGO art, with highly imaginative creations by 140 LEGO sculptors from all over the world.
Sampled book chapter titles are Creepy Crawlers, Evil Attunement, Dark Towers, Indulgences, Pits of Fire and Riot Girls. The press release promises both realistic and impressionist sculptures of dark creatures, gothic fantasies and sci-fi horrors, on display with a healthy dose of dark humor.
