Foscarini reimagines five iconic designs for their new Be/Colour! capsule collection that’s currently on view at Foscarini Spazio Soho, and will be up for purchase for a limited time in showrooms and online. Twiggy, Magneto, Binic, Bahia, and Gregg were all given updates in bold, unexpected colors by architect Ferruccio Laviani.

Within the capsule collection, Foscarini and Laviani explored color and contrast. “We wanted to get beyond ‘all-over’ effect of a single colour, and where possible we have formulated chromatic combinations, trying to make every single lamp even more unexpected than before,” says Laviani. “After all, reality too is double, because each thing exists by virtue of its opposite.”
Foscarini lamps have a presence at all times of day, whether they are switched on or turned off – a true example of form meeting function. Live by night and by day, on or off: they have a physical presence, not just a function.The Be/Colour! Collection Colour continues this tradition by openly expressing and uncovering the personalities of the objects.
