A 19-year old French actor, Candice Drouet, has compiled a short video that she’s calling Movie Posters. Overlaying movie scenes with the film’s poster, we are able to see how the advertisement sits within the context of the moving image. The direct mashup between the film and the graphic design gives interesting insight in the connection between the two media forms.
The short is part of Drouet’s series called “My Life In 1,000,000 Frames” where she uses a single theme to splice together movie clips.
