Fruits and vegetables become delightful surrealist jewelry models

Paris-based photographer/illustrator/art director Valentine Reinhardt brings together two seemingly unrelated subjects, fruit and jewelry, in her colorful photo series ‘Nature Vivante’ (Living Nature).

For Reinhardt’s still life series, ordinary fruits and vegetables like apples, grapes, artichokes, oranges and more become unexpected jewellery models as they are photographed in bold color combinations against a solid-colored background. The natural colors are utilized to their fullest to create vibrant food art with a slight surrealist/pop-art twist.
