Seattle-based photographer Stephanie Jarstad found her Christmas trees in an unlikely place – the beards of men. For her quirky series ‘The Twelve Beards of Christmas,’ Jarstad photographed a number of men whose beards were decorated with jolly holiday ornaments of all sorts in a fun and festive fashion. Tiny wreaths, antlers, jingle bells, Christmas lights and snowflakes found a home in an impressive collection of beards. The project was born in honor of Decembeard, a men’s health initiative to raise awareness for prostate cancer.
