Furniture from a single piece of wood

Robert Van Embricqs is the designer behind a new type of furniture where a table, chair, or bowl, unfolds from a single piece of wood. The furniture is made of woven bamboo beams. Robert’s design won a Reddot Design Award and has received a lot of attention.
