Jon Lott, of PARA-project, designed this modern poetry-writing studio that is humorously placed between two traditional townhouses in a residential neighborhood of Syracuse, New York. The ‘Haffenden House’ features a garage, a library and a reading room.
This is a writer’s dream-space with diffused natural light throughout the home. The reading room, on the third story, makes maximum use of the sun’s light with a bowl-shaped ceiling. To top off this literary paradise there is a bathtub in middle of the second floor library. Check it out in the photos below!
