If you went through Times Square at the right moment last month you may have been surprised to see this giant video of a man yawning on multiple advertising screens in the area. No, this was not an ad for a sleep medication, but an art piece by Chilean artist Sebastian Errazuriz.
The piece is titled ‘A Pause in the City That Never Sleeps’ and it was shown for a brief moment each night in January 2015, beginning at 11:57pm. The event was curated by Times Square Arts and presented by the Times Square Advertising Coalition.
