The Corning Museum of Glass partners with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs to present GlassLab, the Museum’s design program, in Paris, in the Tuileries Garden, October 22-27.
Watch as designer Arik Levy works with GlassLab glassmakers to create two experiments in glass. The first is a fusion of three different glassblowers blowing into the same space at the same time. The second is taking a piece of barbed wire and covering it with glass to transform something that is typically aggressive and harmful, into something protected and soft to the touch. http://www.cmog.org/glasslab/designers/arik-levy
