Graphic artist makes stunning stationery using mainly watercolor

Yvette Lising is a freelance visual artist based in Manila. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts with a major in Advertising. At a young age, drawing and painting portraits became just a few of her favorite past times. Yvette is not the first artist in the family, as her dad is a photographer, among other relatives, who are also in the creative field. While they easily served as her influence growing up, it’s interesting to know that she also draws inspiration from video games, movies, and everyday adventures.

Today, Yvette is busy juggling between freelance jobs as a graphic artist for local businesses and her recently-launched illustrated stationery business TypeScratch. TypeScratch creates notebooks and planners, wedding essentials, social stationery, and stamps out of handmade painting and patterns. Some of her latest favorite designs to make are cats, botanical, and sushi. She uses mainly gouache and watercolor to draw and paint. Aside from her website, Yvette’s works can also be viewed on Facebook and Instagram.
