Balmer Hählen is a Lausanne, Switzerland based creative studio focusing on Graphic Design and Art Direction. For the Rendez-vous des créateurs 2017 invitations, the studio has created a series of printed matters based on unique typography and surprising forms that push the limits of current printing technology. The creative people of Balmer Hählen have created the invitation with the idea in mind: “What’s going on if the impression took over the graphic design?”
They have designed some printed matters using extraordinary cut-outs, textures, and glossy varnish to modify the typography. In addition, they used a range of opposing materials in order to create the perfect alchemy. Just have a look at the images below. Full credits can be found at the end of the article.
