The Santa Monica-based designer has a knack for making the planet seem small and turning oceans into stadiums. Putra particularly likes to work with large-scale images with maximum potential for defying all laws of physics, such as one piece where Greek columns rest on puffy clouds. In another image, a cyclist prepares to traverse a road folded 90 degrees upward.
