Italian fashion house Trussardi has enlisted American photographer William Wegman for one unconventional shoot where traditional human models are replaced by greyhound dogs. The photo series is a 40th anniversary tribute to their greyhound logo. In spite of his 50+ years experience in photographing dogs, this is actually Wegman’s first time working with greyhounds as slick-looking fashion models.
The art and costumes were directed by Macs Lotti who portrays the greyhounds as surprisingly dapper when modeling the latest Trussardi Spring/Summer ‘14 looks. The dogs are pictured wearing a variety of garments and accessories including bags, aviator sunglasses and python skin jackets.
