Grow on Me Tables Bring People + Plants Together

Listen up plant lovers, After Architecture’s Grow on Me tables integrate your beloved houseplants further into everyday living. How does it work? Planters are nestled into each cylindrical table leg, the legs then support square tabletops that can pivot to create non-traditional seating layouts.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Grow on Me’s versatility goes further still. Depending upon the variety and height of your plants, coupled with the geometry of the table legs, various scenarios can play out to create privacy screens or a canopy. For example, cacti create an open yet separate visual, succulents work great for keeping conversations flowing, a banana plant creates a tall canopy covering and a large monstera gives privacy at a café. The ultimate point of Grow on Me is to bring plants and human interaction together into one symbiotic system.

After Architecture cofounder Katie MacDonald describes the table as a scaffolding for both human and plant life. “The combination of #wfh and renewed attention to indoor air quality during the pandemic has given houseplants a more central role in our homes, offices and imaginations. This table seats humans alongside their beloved plants.”

Grow on Me is available in a terracotta finish – a nod to traditional flower pots – as well as five other bright colors and three sizes.
