Heat-sensitive edition of ‘Fahrenheit 451’ conceals pages at room temperature

Anne Petronille Nypels Lab at Van Eyck Academie in the Netherlands shared a video showing Ray Bradbury’s classic Fahrenheit 451 being put to a flame.

The book was printed by French graphic design collective Super Terrain using heat sensitive ink for the experiment to reveal the material’s hidden capabilities. The substance conceals the book’s pages in a layer of black when at room temperature and reveals its hidden layer when heat is applied. The lab is known to experiment with printed matter so check out more on their website and Instagram.
