HIBERNATION IV, an ongoing photo series by Øystein Sture Aspelund investigating subconsciousness and the sometimes seamless transition between truth and fiction.
In 2016, we have featured Øystein Sture Aspelund’s HIBERNATION photo series for the first time. Even in 2018, the project is still alive and with his publication number 4, the Norwegian photographer is digging deeper into the mysterious world of subconsciousness and the sometimes barely visible border between truth and fiction. This personal project is based on the experiences of a man and his relationship to the environment as a tool of investigation. HIBERNATION is catching certain moments when our daily reality and our subconscious world collide. A selection of images from the fourth publication can be found below.
