As a long-time fan of his work as both a gallerist and curator, we were thrilled to have Ken Harman Hashimoto step in for our first “Ask Me Anything” community interview! Here are some highlights from last week’s AMA, where Ken answered questions submitted ahead of time as well as during the 2-hour long live session on Slack.
If you’re not already familiar, Ken runs three galleries — Hashimoto Contemporary (SF) , Spoke Art (NYC, SF) — as well as the The People’s Print Shop and Paragon Books. Questions ranged from how best to approach a gallery, the advantages of gallery representation, curation, publishing, etc.
