Any good advice on how to stop with line art and start directly with painting process? I cant seem to get out of that mindset… its always line art for me, i feel like its limiting me in many ways?

I’m trying to learn how to draw women, and intellectually I understand the idea that “less is more” when drawing them, but i have a lot of trouble keeping it simple, do you know of any reliable way to know which lines and planes i can leave out in a drawing??

I was wondering, how do you get your brush strokes so, what should I call it, non-shaky? Whenever I try to make a straight line or curve in photoshop, it always looks incredibly shaky since there’s no stabilizer options there. Do you have any tips or tricks, or has it never been an issue for you? I know that there are stabilizer apps out there, but I’ve also seen people not getting shaky lines without such apps in photoshop. Would be nice to hear your take on it :)?

Two questions: I find myself always using references. Should I try to break this dependence? Also, I tend to get stuck in sketching every tiny detail during the line drawing. How can I do to train myself to simplify??

Question: I live in a country where there is really no gaming or digital art scene (India). I want to be a digital artist, have the resources and time to make it happen. Is it possible for me to still have a digital art career and get clients from across the world in the future after building a portfolio?
