Hyperrealistic drawings of surreal translucent hands

Armenian artist Tigran Tsitoghdzyan uses his skills and technical knowledge in painting, drawing, and photography to create these hyperrealistic works of art. What appear to be double-exposed photographs are actually incredibly detailed drawings.

In the series ‘Millenium,’ Tsitoghdzyan depicts women covering their faces with their hands, which appear translucent, revealing the eyes beneath them. The bold black and white images are iconic and feel like a window in the psyche of each subject. The drawings carry dark undertones that explore conflicts in identity, emotion, and femininity.
