Hyperrealistic paintings depict cacti specimens in extraordinary detail

We talk about hyperrealism all the time here on DesignFaves, but really, you’ve seen nothing yet.

Korean painter Kwang-ho Lee uses oil paints to depict massive cacti rendered so impeccably that you’d think you were looking at CGI renderings. The paintings stand up to 8-feet tall and feature a variety of cacti specimens in extraordinary detail.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Lee is a graduate of Seoul National University where he studied painting and is now represented by by Johyun Gallery.

Check out some of his hyperrealistic paintings below and find more on his Artsy page.
