We’ve talked about zoetropes on Design Faves before and how they’re being used in various creative ways. Here are some really cool ones, this time around from Alexandre Dubosc.
The French director and animator has released a hypnotic new video of a delicious chocolate cake fashioned with all the kinks of a zoetrope. Creatively titled, “Melting POP”, the quirky video shows the cake rotating for just over one minute with the camera cutting in and out of cartoony faces and other delightful features carved into each layer.
