I Just (Don’t) Want to Be Alone: The Photography of Bence Bakonyi

Some time ago, Bence Bakonyi accepted an invitation to an artist’s residency in Shanghai. The Hungarian photographer didn’t speak the language, didn’t know the land, and didn’t know its people. Nevertheless, the series that resulted from that experience is amazingly, and quite rightly, called Segue.
