Insanely kitschy chandeliers with dangling octopus tentacles

Philadelphia-based artist/photographer Adam Wallacavage has a fascination with octopuses and chandeliers, and he managed to mash up both interests in these magnificently kitschy… octopus chandeliers. Inspired by church decorations, underwater adventure stories, and taxidermy, his creations are unashamedly gaudy and certainly a lot of fun to look at. Can you imagine these chandeliers as the decorative objects of choice for Ursula from The Little Mermaid?

Wallacavage’s novelty light fixtures come in a wide range of vivid colors, with an occasional twist of the bizarre. He already published an art book entitled Monster Sized Monsters to showcase his wildly imaginative chandeliers. Check out more of his work on his website.
