Various Projects has collaborated with Print All Over Me and Wallpaper Projects for a series of interior living space installations that they describe as “furniture for easy living”. The series called Block Party includes foam sectional furniture pieces that are covered with patterned fabric that relate to the pattern-covered walls and floor.
This immersive experience is not limited to the Block Party series. A grid-based installation at Design Miami placed wire-frame furniture within a room covered with graph-paper pattern. Various Projects has called these mind-altering installations a “performative approach to our everyday interactions with the living world around us.”
